3 months before
- Confirm lease end and new lease start dates in writing
- Appoint an internal move coordinator
- Get 2–3 removal quotes — ours takes two minutes
- Order broadband and phone lines (lead times can be 60+ days)
- Measure the new space and plan desk layout
1 month before
- Tell clients, suppliers, bank and HMRC about your new address
- Book goods lifts and loading bays at both buildings
- Arrange crate delivery
- Plan IT disconnection with your IT provider
- Decide what to dispose of via office clearance
Move week
- Staff pack personal desk items and label crates
- Back up all data
- Confirm move-day contacts and access codes
- Update Google Business Profile and website address
After the move
